Another hat from Boutique Knits by Laura Irwin. I love the look of this hat in the book, but not so much on me. The twist I tried and hated. I replaced it with a cable picked up from the crown and sewn underneath. I might chuck the whole twist Idea and opt for buttons. I'm very pleased with the way the Malabrigo worsted knit up. The feel, look and texture are perfect. Baby Grande Alpaca would have been soft. However I was afraid of shedding, stretching and loss of stitch definition. Plus it was in my stash and waiting to be knit into a hat.
