Here's a shot of my PS project for April. I've got the top done and joined. I need to pick up the stitches for the body now and knit away. There are a few techinical problems that I may have to deal with, but I think I am just fretting for no reason. It's just that the last bag that I knit on the fly didn't turn out. I'm a little more cautious now.
Yesterday I spent part of the day with my friend M in the park practicing Kung Fu. It was really fun. The sun was out, but it wasn't warm so I kept my hooded sweatshirt on, hood up and tied with sunglasses. No, I don't think I quite looked like the unibomber, but I wanted a badass look. Afterall, it's not easy to spar with M, even slowly because I feel like a munchkin. He has about 5 inches and 100 pounds on me. I mean come on, look at this:
what did that tree ever do to him?
J/K! He's a sweet, sweet person and fellow knitter. Check out his work on the Ithaca Stitch'N Bitch blog.
And in case you're wondering which character on the Muppets you have an affinity for, I offer you this test which I found on Lainie's blog today:

You Are Animal |
A complete lunatic, you're operating on 100% animal instincts. You thrive on uncontrolled energy, and you're downright scary. But you sure can beat a good drum. "Kill! Kill!" |

I love the picture of your orange project. The colors just look so *warm* in that light.
Is the park Stewart or Cass?
Glad to read that things are going better. Spring around here seems to lift everyone's hearts. I know it's working on mine!
Thanks for comments on the picture gals. The coffee shop where I took it, (Gimme Coffee, has lovely organge walls. I think that added to warmness.
You should never name a Winter complextion "April"! lol - nyah, just kidding, I like my name.
That tree will have it's revenge, just wait and see, wha ha ha ha! =)
OH YEAH! I'm Animal, too! I posted it a hundrend years ago, but it's there somewhere hehehehe
and as for the kick-practice... well, I'd be the one just hanging back and watching :-) I bet you made a wonderful "badass"
Hey, thanks so much for leaving a comment on my blog! And now that you've done so, I'm able to blogstalk ya back...muhahahaha!
Teyani - I'm going to make a felted bag, buttonhole style. You know it's funny, there was a 2-3 grade lacrosse practice in the neighboring fields that day and a couple of the kids from my school were there. One of the moms approached me this week wondering what the heck I had been doing.
Ladylinoleum - you do the absolute coolest crochet on the net! Every time I visit your blog I am always amazed.
That said, I also wanted to say I LOVE the colors you choose. And M always was good at beating up those trees....
